About Consultants for Community Resources
Consultants for Community Resources (CCR) is a consulting firm focused on helping organizations, governments, and community coalitions build stronger, more age-inclusive, intergenerational communities.We believe lasting community change begins by strengthening the organizations that make it possible. Our work is grounded in Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), a framework that starts with the strengths already present in communities—their people, organizations, institutions, local economies, and stories—and connects those assets in new ways.
CCR’s consulting focuses on four closely related areas:

Across these areas, we partner with nonprofit organizations, foundations, local and state governments, healthcare providers, educational institutions, and community coalitions. Our role is to help leaders translate vision into practical strategies that strengthen organizations and improve community life.

Principal
Michael leads Consultants for Community Resources and has spent decades working at the intersection of aging, philanthropy, and community development. His experience includes leadership roles at major foundations, national work on Asset-Based Community Development, and board service with leading aging and intergenerational organizations.
Senior Associate
Patrick is a consultant and public administrator with extensive experience in management, resource development, and philanthropy. He has held leadership roles in foundations, higher education, and local government, and has designed statewide training initiatives to strengthen nonprofit and public sector capacity.
Senior Associate
Ben is a strategy consultant and constituent management professional with a background in civic engagement, advocacy, and public policy. He has worked with numerous organizations and campaigns, trained groups of all sizes, and brings a strong focus on community, equity, and long-term relationship building.
Senior Associate
John is a consultant, educator, and researcher focused on the Baby Boomer and Senior markets. He has led research and gerontology work at major institutions, advised national organizations on aging and longevity, and is widely recognized for his expertise in the 50+ population.
