Services
CCR helps organizations and communities turn assets into action. We work at the intersection of organizational strategy, philanthropy, longer lives, and community development, helping leaders recognize the strengths they already possess, engage the people who matter most, and build practical plans for moving forward. Our work is grounded in the belief that older adults and every generation are not simply clients to be served, but assets to be connected.

Aging & Longevity Strategy
Longer lives are reshaping every community. CCR helps leaders look beyond simply adding more services and instead create places where older adults remain connected, contribute, lead, and continue to matter.
We work across the broader aging and longevity ecosystem—Area Agencies on Aging, state and local governments, nonprofits, healthcare systems, foundations, universities, and community coalitions. Our focus is helping you move beyond “more services” toward strategies that build age-inclusive, resilient communities. Our approach is grounded in Asset-Based Community Development and the belief that older adults are among a community’s greatest strengths.
How We Help
- Engage older adults and other residents as contributors and decision-makers
- Discover community assets, relationships, and local connectors
- Build partnerships around what is already working
- Turn shared ideas into realistic, locally owned action
- Recruit senior planning staff in the field of aging.
Intergenerational Communities
Living near one another is not the same as living with one another. CCR helps organizations intentionally create opportunities for people of different ages to learn, contribute, and lead together.
CCR helps organizations, governments, and coalitions design intergenerational strategies that connect children, youth, adults, and older adults in meaningful ways. Our work is grounded in the belief that every generation has strengths to share, and that communities are more resilient when generations work together rather than apart.
- Design intergenerational programs where people of all ages learn and lead together
- Engage youth, older adults, and families as partners in community change
- Support organizations to embed intergenerational thinking into everyday practice
How We Help

Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD)
ABCD begins with a different question: not ‘What’s wrong?’ but ‘What strengths already exist, and how can we build on them?’
We help communities discover the gifts of individuals, associations, institutions, physical places, local economic activity, and community stories, then connect those assets and move them toward action.
How We Help
- Discover community assets, relationships, and local connectors
- Use asset mapping, appreciative inquiry, Action Analysis, and other practical tools
- Build partnerships around what is already working
- Turn shared ideas into realistic, locally owned action
